Simsbury Farms is located on 235 acres of a former apple orchard and is the town's largest recreational facility. Opened in 1970, the park offers an 18-hole golf course with a club house and restaurant, four swimming pools, a covered outdoor skating rink, and lighted tennis and paddle courts. Lessons are also offered in all these activities. In addition, there is a playscape, a family fitness trail and picnic areas. The renovated Apple Barn can be used for meetings and special gatherings.
